We also need to be unified under this understanding that the church is not an organization, it is not a building, it is not a denomination, it is not a brand, it is not the name of your tribal group. The church is the body of believers it’s you and me and when we come together as a community we are the church. It is not built with walls, but souls.

Jesus gave us every single thing we need to go out and be confident Christians proclaiming the greatness of God and witnessing to people! We are called to bring them to their eternal home so that when God comes to judge not only will we have the confidence to face the judgment, but when we get to heaven we will see God and He will say, “WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!”

Without the resurrection, our preaching and our Gospel messages, are useless. Not only is our preaching useless, but our faith is useless too! It’s empty! Without the resurrection, you would be placing your faith in something that is not true and a waste of time. People who trust in Jesus would just be deceiving themselves. An empty Gospel only produces empty faith – a faith that cannot save.

Because Jesus died, He destroyed the power of sin and death and He transfers that authority to YOU! So many times we look at sin, we look at our weaknesses, we look at our doubts, we look at our fears, we look at our failures, and we think they will always define us.
