Bible Passage: 1 John 3:16
The Gospel accounts of the death of Jesus in the trial of Jesus, and the Bible says that Jesus remained silent even though he was falsely accused. People hurled insults at him, cried out for his death, and cheered for the release of Barabbas over the innocent Jesus. Jesus. the Son of God, who with one word could have called the angels to his rescue, remained silent and did not sin! As He was tortured and ridiculed, His innocence stayed intact. As He hung on the cross, He never responded with transgression or called out for vengeance, but He responded with Grace!
