Christ’s ascension provides a solid foundation and security in our salvation. The ascension ensures that Jesus’ ministry is stamped with God’s seal of approval! God says, “Well done, son/daughter! I’m so proud of you! You did it! It’s time to come home!” When Jesus was carried home it forever declared the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice! His place at the right hand of the Father demonstrates His sovereignty – everything in all of creation falls under His reign! The ascension of Jesus establishes our salvation, and His place of sovereignty ensures His eternal rule!
