The Beatitudes mean “consummate bliss and blessedness.” Basically, Jesus is saying that people that live like this are living in bliss – not anger, not hate, not bitterness, but BLISS! Now there are eight Beatitudes and last week we focused on the first 4: they show this dependence on God to change us from the inside! This week we will focus on the next 4: they show us the IMPACT we can have in the world because of that dependence on God! Today let’s look at THE FOUR SOCIAL QUALITIES THAT ARE BLESSED!
