“We live in a society that is desperate for joy to replace the sadness and the sorrow they feel. Unfortunately, we can’t make ourselves joyful – you can’t purchase it or command to come into your life. We think we can grasp it through entertainment, hobbies, the funny TikTok’s that we watch, the movies we divulge in, the next purchases we make, or the meals we eat. However, there is something we can do. We can decide to live in the abundance of God and not under the selfish rule of our own needs. We can understand He is our provider and He is our sustainer!’
